This one's for me! 
Partly the reason my Soul Killer characters are so badass is well... I feel as though the Locust aren't exactly a threat at times.
I blame Gears 2 and the Comics, and somewhat the books.
Plus,
once pointed out that The Soul Killers have wiped out 20% of the COG's remaining military. Awesome!
